About Joyfully Thrive
Joyfully Thrive was created to make mental wellness feel a little more like a warm cup of tea and a little less like a self-improvement spreadsheet. Around here, we believe in progress that feels like you - gentle, real, and probably wearing cozy socks.
Through mindful thinking (and more than a few digital tools), I share what I’ve learned (and what I’m still figuring out) with grace and the occasional snack break. About building small, sustainable habits rooted in self-love, self-trust, and the permission to not have it all together.
My hope is simple (and slightly rebellious in a hustle-happy world) - to encourage you to care for yourself with tenderness, love yourself without performance, and grow into the version of you that already exists beneath the noise — the one who knows when to rest, when to reset, and when to say, “No thanks, I’m full on obligations today.”
A Little About Me
Hello friend! I’m Jaimie.
I’m a 40-something single mom who’s been on a first-name basis with bipolar disorder and anxiety for years. For a long time, “self-care” felt like a fancy term for something other people had time for - like spa days or eight hours of sleep.
I’ve lived the days where brushing my teeth was the big win. When “one step at a time” felt like a marathon slogan. When my planner stayed closed and my emotions stayed loud.
But slowly, through trial, error, (and the occasional existential crisis in the grocery store aisle), I started finding little things that helped. Tiny shifts. Gentle tools. Aha moments didn’t come with fireworks, but with a quiet breath of relief.
Joyfully Thrive was born from that journey. Not as a polished end point, but as a soft place to land.
I’m not here to tell you I’ve got it all figured out. I really don’t. But I’ve come far enough to know what helps me feel more grounded. And maybe, just maybe, something here will help you feel that way too.
Come as you are. We’re all figuring this out together.
